“The limits of my language represent the limits of my world” Ludwig Wittgenstein

This blog is about crossing frontiers, both linguistic and cultural.
Crossing frontiers is essentially nothing else than meeting what is foreign,
because it is interesting and also, because you experience yourself anew.

To think and speak European is in my view an important language goal for
the future. This means, e.g. benefitting from language potentials and knowledge
through learning and becoming aware of the links between languages.

So that –ion is a feminine noun ending not only in German:

the union > die Union > l’union > l’unione > l’unión

The ability to recognize this kind of analogy early on can only lead to a better communication base for future Europeans.

To search for what links and not for what divides, to adopt what is foreign as one’s own and to contribute one’s own with others, that is my wish.
